StockGraphy has been responsible for the high-precision 3D scanning and 3D model optimization of the important cultural properties "Troughton Astronomical Telescope" "Milne Horizontal Pendulum Seismograph" and "Ewing's Voice Reproduction Device" in the development of a 3D digital archive by the National Museum of Nature and Science. These 3D models have been made available in an accessible format on the National Museum of Nature and Science's Sketchfab account. In the future, aiming to expand partnerships through the dissemination of technology related to 3D scanning and 3D model optimization and joint development with various organizations, the 3D model optimization workflow will be published on BEGIN3D.com.

This project has successfully conducted high-precision 3D scans involving materials of high difficulty and complex shapes. The 3D scans were realized by an engineer(*1) with advanced scanning skills, appropriately combining RealityCapture and various capture equipment. Moreover, the project has performed the highest degree of optimization work to maintain the complex shapes and details of the high-precision 3D scan models, or to enhance their precision while ensuring compatibility with real-time web3D display. This web3D optimization workflow will be published on BEGIN3D.com at a later date with the aim of disseminating the technology and expanding partnerships such as joint development with various organizations.
The 3D models related to this project can be experienced through the National Museum of Nature and Science's Sketchfab account.

RealityCapture, which was utilized for generating 3D scan models in this case, is a photogrammetry software widely employed in professional fields worldwide. It enables the creation of highly precise 3D models from photo data, laser scan data, or both. Moreover, RealityCapture stands as the fastest solution in the industry currently. Its swift processing enhances operational efficiency, allowing for a focused pursuit of core objectives.
